My Background

Growing up in Southern California, I have always loved tackling puzzles.  From a very young age I was acutely focused on details and working feverishly to solve all questions or issues that came my way.  By the time I was old enough to choose my own path, I was full steam ahead towards a career in design.  My bachelor's degree brought me several awards and led me to the profession that was tailor made for my passions and abilities.  Two decades later, I love what I do more than ever.  There is nothing more satisfying than helping individuals, families, and businesses create a space they love, and I place a premium on making the experience as pleasant as possible.  I have done every kind of project...from a simple bathroom remodel, to offices, school classrooms, and celebrity homes.  Using 3D modeling, I help clients fully visualize the potential for their project before a single nail is used and apply my experience in whatever way best suits my client...from design to completed project.  I can consult simply on the broad strokes level, create detailed construction plans, pick materials and fixtures, all the way to overseeing the final polishes of the build.  In addition to my degree and experience, I am a proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

I am also a wife and a mother.  My husband and I have been married for over 25 years, and we are the proud parents of two talented kids. Our daughter is currently studying in college abroad and our son is an accomplished high school baseball player.  Rounding out the family is our dog, Finn, an Australian Shepherd, who is very loving, demanding, and keeps us very busy.  When I'm not deep in catalogues of the latest tiles, flooring, and building codes, I enjoy hiking, pilates, travel, and obsessing over Los Angeles baseball...GO, DODGERS!!
